Process for Branch Office Registration:

  1. Submit Form FNC with supporting documents through an Authorized Dealer (AD) Bank for RBI approval.
  2. The AD Bank reviews and forwards the application to RBI under the automatic or approval route.
  3. After approval by the competent authority under the applicable FEMA framework, register the branch office with ROC within 30 days by filing Form FC-1.
  4. Submit the RBI approval letter, the parent company's charter documents, board resolutions and Indian office address proof.
  5. ROC issues the Corporate Identity Number (CIN).
